I lost my temper with my friend who works in diplomacy, I thought she was trained to gather intelligence and analyse it. I presented her facts, and she sent me the link to some guy who was babbling some incredible theories which had no connection to reality (reality is always based on facts, i.e. deeds, not words). I forgot this guy's name, so much he was off.
Anyway, this happened in 2022, so I had 3 years for observing and thinking. In my opinion, people who keep ignoring the fact-based reality, know deep inside that they are wrong, but cannot admit this to themselves because there is too much at stake. For example, a job with high salary. The fact is they have consciously decided to work for the Western empire, knowing that they are betraying their own people. If they admitted that they are on the wrong path, their world would fall apart.
I think this is Matt's case too... (I happen to know what Green Barets were doing in Latin America during 70s and 80s (see SKYNET, Cynthia Chung wrote about this), so I have not illusions. They are loyal to their masters, not to their own people.)
Aha, now I remember: the babbling guy's name is Timothy Snyder.
Dubya's script writer, Karl Rove, (paraphrased) " We are an Empire (of shite), now, and as we make up crap, you can follow, analyze, whatever, but we'll just move on to another (shite pile) unconstrained by facts."
They agree that Russia wants to enforce their will upon Ukraine?
Do they agree that NATO and its Ukrainian proxy organized and financed the Maidan Putsch? Scott said that. Nawfal and Tardio said nothing.
Do they agree that NATO and America seek and sought the destruction of Russia, and that Ukraine as it stands now is a willing proxy and tool for that destruction, especially the leadership, and especially if it was still sharp, could be resharpened, substantial, could be resubstantiated, retrained and made fit for purpose, it would eventually destroy Russia?
Proverbs 3:29 Do not devise evil against your neighbor, for he ...
Russia’s “will” is intolerant of thermonuclear armed missile base on its borders and a thermonuclear sword of Damocles hanging about Russia, above Russia and on its border.
They can argue that Finland and Sweden and the Baltic states have the right to arm up with conventional weapons as free, independent and sovereign nations and then these formerly so called neutral nations could also accept missile bases, covertly, or overtly? It’s their right? It’s self determination and sovereignty?
That’s like saying they have a right to nuclear war that will destroy them and us. That’s not a right, unless there’s a right to insanity.
That insanity has been endorsed by NATO European leaders and NATO North American leaders since the putsch in Ukraine and before.
They wouldn’t agree? NATO is peace, love and goodwill to Russia and always has been?
Looking for points of agreement in a debate has a superficial appearance of reasonableness because it may appear a peaceable strategy or argument, but in this case it was highly slanderous of Russia. It implied that Russia imposed its will on a smaller country for fickle and irrelevant reasons.
Russia will destroy nazified Ukraine if it doesn’t accept neutrality towards Russia, because it has been, and further will be the most hostile, largest, most organized, hateful, angry and vengeful neighbour on Russia’s border of all its neighbours, unless it shows a capacity for neutrality, neutral thinking and forgiveness.
It’s easy to argue that the Baltic States are more nazified and hateful and devoted to the destruction of Russia, and have been since the beginning, but they are much smaller, and less confidently obstreperous than Ukraine.
Ukraine thought they could win, with western help, but western help became western command, control and dictatorship, driven by NATO military training. Obama said it would be a mistake to make Ukraine think they could win. The Ukrainian Nazis were buttressed by the west and there was a purge of everything Russian. Do they agree on that?
Gonzalo Lira was murdered by the Ukrainians. Do they agree on that?
The tragic end of Gonzalo Lira: A voice silenced in Ukraine
[“I cannot accept the way my son has died. He was tortured, extorted, incommunicado for 8 months and 11 days and the US Embassy did nothing to help my son,” Lira Sr. stated in an email announcing the news.}
Do they agree that all dissent to this war was purged, persecuted, tortured, threatened, beaten and expunged such that almost half the population left Ukraine, except for the remnant of the original Galician divisions and partitions of Ukrainian society that supported the western side of the Ukrainian Civil War?
The point of war is to enforce your will on the adversary and in this Civil War nobody enforced their will on the ethnic Russian population of Ukraine more than the Western Ukrainian side.
“We repeat again: strength of character does not consist solely in having powerful feelings, but in maintaining one’s balance in spite of them. Even with the violence of emotion, judgment and principle must still function like a ship’s compass, which records the slightest variations however rough the sea.”

“To achieve victory we must mass our forces at the hub of all power and movement. The enemy’s "center of gravity”
― Karl Von Clausewitz
“Even when there is no natural hatred and no animosity to start with, the fighting itself will stir up hostile feelings: violence committed on superior orders will stir up the desire for revenge and retaliation against the perpetrator rather than against the powers that ordered the action. It is only human (or animal, if you like), but it is a fact.”
― Carl von Clausewitz
“Kind-hearted people might of course think there was some ingenious way to disarm or defeat an enemy without too much bloodshed and might imagine this is the true goal of the art of war. Pleasant as it sounds, it is a fallacy that must be exposed; war is such a dangerous business that the mistakes which come from kindness are the very worst.”
― Carl von Clausewitz
“War therefore is an act of violence intended to compel our opponent to fulfill our will.”

“As long as the enemy is not defeated, he may defeat me; then I shall be no longer my own master; he will dictate the law to me as I did to him.”
― Carl von Clausewitz, On War - Volume 1
“If our opponent is to be made to comply with our will, we must place him in a situation which is more oppressive to him than the sacrifice which we demand; but the disadvantages of this position must naturally not be of a transitory nature, at least in appearance, otherwise the enemy, instead of yielding, will hold out, in the prospect of a change for the better.”
Our Canadian PM says “this is a conflict between authoritarianism and democracy, between freedom and fear”.
Putin embarked on his special military operation under the greatest duress and with the greatest trepidation. He knew the west sought the destruction of a free and independent Russia, with extreme prejudice, and he knew that the first move was the overthrow of the democratic government of Ukraine, and that was my guess as well, and that also was my opinion and intuition, as it was Obama’s.
Putin intuitively knew that this could very likely entail the build up of a lasting animosity in the hearts of the Ukrainian people. One of your Tass interviewees mentioned the vengeful character of this war and all conventional war as a deep source of all the animosities and hatreds of the west of Ukraine against the east and Russia.
I think Putin knew it would be a war of attrition since the beginning. But he likely didn’t anticipate the persistence and determination of the Ukrainian soldier, even against impossible odds. They would not surrender even with 10:1 casualty ratios for a large number of reasons. One of them was the determination and hatred of their NATO trainers and secondarily politicians like Carney, Macron and so many others.
All I know is that hatred is not the answer.
Suffering casualties, losses and injuries like that, the west anticipates and hopes that Ukraine will be an everlasting sore spot on Russia’s flank, even if they fight this war to the last Ukrainian soldier. They hope that the son’s and daughters of the Galician extremists will take up the war after any peace or neutrality has subsided, much like Germany, or Austrian neonazi extremists. The western and European leaders hope for the worst, such is their hatred of Russia and Russians, inculcated into Ukrainians by NATO trainers, Banderite extremists and all western Russophobes and Russophobia of long duration and violent history.
But Scott sees hope here, in the attitudes of his Chechen friends and comrades.
Peace and forgiveness are never simple. If there was no error and hurt, there would be no need of forgiveness.
If war is the continuation of politics, then seeking politics as the continuation of war, without love, forgiveness and peace, will eventually lead back to war again, as the continuation of politics.

Denmark accuses U.S. of covert operations in Greenland - Chris Brown
News Duration 2:04
Denmark summoned the top U.S. diplomat in the country to protest what Danish officials say is an unprecedented effort by people close to U.S. President Donald Trump to conduct secret influence operations in Greenland.
Notice how this Chris Brown video turns this piffle and information space war between NATO allies into a criticism of Russia, by transforming blame onto the Russians and the little Green Men of Russia in Crimea.

I will NOT thank him for his service. I am sick and tired of the obligatory announcement before boarding a plane as if there is no American serviceman could ever be a war criminal. It is just indoctrination of the public so we won’t question the actions of the military when they are deployed in our cities to control us and prevent us from saying “Free Palestine!”
Tardio’s defense of Israel makes him a war criminal by association.
I don’t want thanks for my service. It creeps me out when USAA says it. Almost enough to abandon my 40 years of USAA membership.
I need to add that the last time I come across a podcast with Mario Nawfal as the host, it was disastrous. I wish I remembered who it was that made this little twerp crawl back into the gutter he came from. He looked like a 6-year-old trying to disappear into his chair.
