Trump's pathetic proposal shows zero respect for the culture and sovereignty of the people of Iran and Palestine. Not a grand bargain but a display of grand hubris and condescension.

Russia is already building nuclear reactors in Iran, right? And why on Earth would Iran allow the deceitful US to control its reactors? And israel will never give up its claim to Gaza. THIS IS ANOTHER US TRICK!!!

There's not been a conflict between Iran and Israel. The conflict has all been from the Israelis. Iran hasn't been in war for 200 years. They are good people, too.

I think the Iranians would be surprised to hear that their "kerfluffle" with Iraq was not a war.

One of the main, perhaps only, Trump’s objectives is creation of ever-Greater Israel. He never hid that….

The only filter for Trump's administration members was and is —a total dedication to Zionism and Great Israel, therefore to the US genocide of Palestinians. Hence the unconstitutional and unprecedented “antisemitism” terror and censorship in the US.

Always remember that when Benjamin Netanyahu Mileikowsky visits US he often stays at the estate of Trump’s daughter, Ivanka (Trump) Kushner. And that Trump is demanding that all corruption charges against war criminal Mileikowsky-Netanyahu be dropped.

Also remember, Israel sterilized Ethiopian Jewish immigrant women… - for purity of Ashkenazi blood == racism

Excellent piece. Yes, past actions definitely need to be reviewed. The native American tribes knew the leaders of this country well. Their comment after the 'treaties' were that they spoke with 'forked tongue'.

Yes, we should certainly be suspicious of what Trump is doing, and it sure does sound like a pipe dream, but we should still keep an open mind.

I recently explained to someone that the Hebrew term, עם סגולה/ahm segulah, is more accurately translated as "a virtuous people", rather than "peculiar people". Conflict was never to be the stock in trade of the children of Israel. In the book of Zechariah, it says "Not by might, and not by power, but by My spirit", so the God of Israel was not encouraging the Judeans/Jews of that time to be warlike: the nations were not going to come up as it is written in Isaiah 2 to learn war from the God of Jacob, and in fact it says they would "beat their swords into plowshares", yet military exports were the second or first largest for the country last year.

I agree that it is hard envisioning the reality that Trump is heralding when we look at the natures of the people involved. The Iranians have to problem with the Jewish people, but the Zionists leadership of the country has antagonized the whole world. We have to remember, Abraham was eastern, not western in his lifestyle or thinking, so trying to inject western ideology into an eastern environment will always only lead to conflict. The Zionists came from Europe and wanted to bring Europe with them to an eastern country, and it has only caused conflict and will continue doing so.

Pithy & succinct--perfect form for a rant. And Scott's BS meter has found the soft spots and deception in this proposed Trump deal. If everybody could pack this much info & analysis into this concise a message, YouTube would only have "Shorts". Many thanks for this enlightening talk!

I am commenting to express my keen interest in following the important work that The Russia House is undertaking, particularly under the guidance of Scott Ritter. I appreciate your efforts in addressing this ingrained Western mindset which we here in the Philippines has been largely affected, as I believe it serves as a significant barrier to nurturing better relations between Russia and the West.

As an amateur writer and a serious advocate for these causes, I want to know how I can be involved and share my perspectives with your team. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to this important initiative.

Warm regards
