So clear the depth of the wounds inflicted on Ritter by - in his words - a politicized CIA and FBI. (Seems a lot of whistle blowers have been similarly hurt, especially during Obama’s watch.) That acknowledged, Ritter’s woundedness hardly makes him free of a desire for vengeance and motivation by at least a thread of vindictiveness to hurt those who have tormented him. A natural feeling. Given Gaetz’s company with a deeply flawed man in Trump (a man whose greed has hurt many contractors and subcontractors (workers) in his real estate deals) to give such a man’s friend a blanket white wash hardly reflects an objectivity born of carefully weighed facts by a Ritter possessed with exceptional gifts of closely parsed analysis.
