President Putin violated the Minsk Accords??? That’s new news to me... This guy is out in ORBIT. Even Angela Merkel and Francois Hollande admitted the Minsk Accords WAS A LIE. Scott DESTROYED Colonel Fisher with FACTS, not feelings.

Russia had no stated obligations under Minsk except to maintain borders on its side, once Ukraine had mets its obligations. Therefore pretty much impossible for them to violate a Treaty they were not a party to except as observers and facilitators.

Russia has never failed to maintain its border since the USSR collapsed and the US dropped NATO's leash.

I’d say you took old Jeffrey apart in this debate. Poor guy. But I remember when you were trying to wake America up to the lack of justification for invading Iraq. You took those touts apart too. But only got smeared for it. I don’t think they’ll listen any better now. These maniacs want war and they will trot out the most ridiculous people (Colon Powell) and ridiculous evidence to get their wars. And when that doesn’t work, they’ll send in Piggy Vicky, and her Zionist cookies. 😱. Pray for Niger.

Yes. And BRICS and Venezuela, and all of Latin America…..in fact pray for 90% of the world. We truly are the Great Satan. And it pains my very soul to both say and know that. I once just loved this country.

I agree. The only thing I struggle with tho, is that we ARE the government. I don’t subscribe to the notion that this corruption just landed on us poor innocent victim citizens. We allowed it! We even liked it. Approved of it. Killary and the Clinton’s were popular! And going back, so was killing and stealing from the Indians, and enslaving blacks, and oppressing Asians. We’ve always been a colonizing, settler nation and now we’re reaping the whirlwind, as my gramma used to say. We need a big re-think!

Fischer did not enter into this in the same spirit Scott did - he attacks Scott right from the get go, and multiple times - Scott on the other hand dealt almost exclusively with the content (and context), and did not resort to trying to put Fischer down -just disagreed with him.

Let us not get too stuck in details here, and let us remember one very pertinent fact - it is NOT Russia who surrounds most of the World's nations with Military bases and insane American exceptionalism - Russia does not have over 1000 bases world-wide, Russia has not historically gone after every nation, one after the other, spouting words of peace, and delivering theft and murder, all with a very publically stated intent of 'Democratising' the World, or acting as if they are God's chosen nation (in contradiction of the scriptures I may add).

Sorry Fischer, but until you learn to debate without stooping to the same tactics your nation uses to try and build it's global empire, Scott remains as unblemished as his arguments, which were delivered well, and without prejudice towards you.

Ritter = 1, Fischer = 0

Interesting. My observation is that the US was exiting treaties which Russia then also exited in response. I noted that the US was typically making claims about Russian non-compliance without providing any proof beyond making the claim and ignoring the USs own non-compliance.

Maybe a good reminder that the Pentagon lost track of 21 Trillion dollars. And they "solved" it by allowing the changing of the numbers. And this is only the tip of the corruption. Not one dollar should be missing. Here is an interview about the research -> https://www.corbettreport.com/interview-1407-mark-skidmore-on-the-pentagons-missing-trillions/

In similar sense they treated the "nuclear disarming", "spreading democracy", etc. It is all backwards and designed to profit the most corrupt. The soldiers only see a bit of it. Like when they are ordered to guard a poppy-field or to drone-bomb a wedding.

Fischer either lied or was badly uninformed about New Start. The Russians did not "withdraw" from it. On 21 February 2023, Russia suspended its participation in New START. However, it did not withdraw from the treaty, and clarified that it would continue to abide by the numerical limits in the treaty.

indeed, iirc inspections of nuclear sites were suspended, because americans were playing games with russian inspectors acquiring visa and there was the question about american inspectors providing intelligence to ukrainians who at least once tried to dronebomb a military facility where strategic bombers were stationed. i think mr fischer is entirely aware of the big picture (he was not on a peace-keeping mission during his time in the osce, imo, quite the opposite).

After reading this piece I felt an immediate sadness for Col Fischer. Somewhere in the past this man was a well intentioned patriot but over the years his critical thinking has been worn down living in a NatSec bubble now he sounds like every other policy robot.

I will always remember the anti-war of 'Nam protests. I have a left jaw click, from moving in front of an anticipated right cross aimed at my fellow protestor I'll never forget. He was a target, because he was black and ya just can't miss some clues, I heard the n word yelled out and tried to protect him and avert it, which I did do, Success ya might say, some days feels like a pyrrhic victory, but coulda been worse.
