You were the right guy for that job with your colleagues. Everyone was expecting your failure because they worked hard on the background to set up you to fail but you succeeded. Your success is what has made of you a legitimate target for them. Someone to keep one eye watching.

Scott is "on the spectrum". My wife and I are and recognise the signs. Personal courage, respect and honour and a tendency to " tell it like it is" are all traits. So, unfortunately, among many, (me included) not seeing the deceit and subterfuge out there also seems to be a trait among many.

I was a follower when Scott's account was just a couple hundreds followers. If I'm not mistaken before the SMO he was about 15K followers. Suddenly it skyrocket. I believe that all of them were real followers. Which brings the question about to put on a tight situation well-known journalists like Greenwald, Blumenthal and Mate on check-mate about the legitimacy of their followers.
My reading about them = Vanity sucks. No ambitious journalist wants to start with zero followers. But the impressions tab on twitter is there to tell the truth. Someone around 300K followers should not have just around 1K-2K impressions for each tweet. I will remember forever Putin's answer. It was something like this - "We are aware of many journalists struggling to put an article telling the true story about what is going on. This path is exhausted. To resolve this stalemate we will have to go there (with an army) to solve this problem." In 2015 the man already had a strong resolve without the last NATO members introduced. It will be long years on Europe of a painstaking daily life.
Besides, we are far away from France's people fighting to keep social benefits. This reform will come to other countries to spare the western elites of losing too much benefits and profits.
Brazil was the first experiment about taking away social benefits from their own people under FHC from 94 till early 21th century. No one worldwide lost sleep because of it.
