Thanks Scott.

Yes, time to fight back. Strike the 'leaders' of this disgusting Russiaphopia (Great British England) first.

This article, and the information in it, are fabulous. Thank you, Scott. I will never pretend to be any kind of an authority on Russia and its future. After visiting Russia three times with my husband, and seeing first hand the devotion of the Russians to their country and Pres. Putin, the West should not ever underestimate how strong that devotion is. The West has the "Russia forever enemy" mentality because they don't want, or are too lazy, to do any actual Research into Russia. It will be to the detriment of the West to underestimate how strong Russians are to protect their country.

Well said, Patricia. I visited the former USSR twice, and had the same impression. Western leaders, media, hence too much of their publics forgot, or never learned, the details of the USSR in WWII. The average Soviet citizen might not have been crazy about Josef Stalin, but nonetheless fought - and so many millions died - for his or her country, mostly civilians.

Yet Western, especially US, news, entertainment and advertising media forever depict Russians as vicious, violent criminals, spies, or laughable buffoons (think Moscow on the Hudson, and are you old enough to remember the Wendy's commercials?), playing crude stereotyping which, by comparison, would be, and is, condemned when done to other groups. Very few movies, documentaries, TV shows show them in a sympathetic light, although The Unknown War, narrated by Burt Lancaster, was an excellent series (it's available on DVD).

As always Scott, your insights and knowledge are thought-provoking, and erudite. With this latest terrorist psychological, and kinetic attack, Zelensky is mirroring the US attack on Minab, and if he had Tomahawks and the ability to use them, I am sure those would have been used, rather than drones. As you rightly point out, this attack was the brain-child of MI6, of that I am convinced, and was a war-crime, deserving of the highest level of punishment.

What happened in Minab, and now Starobelsk, stand out as deliberate mental and kinetic warfare of demonic levels, and those responsible MUST pay for what they have done with their lives, and in such a manner as to stand as a warning to any others who would deliberately target Children - even Jesus Christ would say that it would be better for those to be hurled into the Sea with a Millstone around their necks, than face his Father's wrath over harming and murdering children, and I am certain, the Father's of those children will feel very much the same.

Russia, and it's greatest leader of all time, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, must remain pragmatic, AND also respond to this heinous war crime in unequivocal terms. His Pragmatism has served Russia extremely well, and I would argue, that this pragmatism must include teaching the West an unforgettable lesson - perhaps, as MI6 HQ stands so proudly on the banks of the river Thames, it is time to dump it into the Thames - maybe THAT would be sufficiently punishing.I expect that Russia would first prefer to ascertain in their own minds that this was an MI6 organised attack, and I certainly would agree with that, but Kiev, that is to say Zelensky, and his Nazi crew, must also pay with their lives for this war-crime.

It is a very good thing that Vladimir Putin is the man in charge, for were it I, Kiev, London, and Berlin would already be in flames, along with all their drone and missile production sites, AND my nukes would be targeted on their Nukes and Military centres, with a stark message that they will follow rapidly, if they did not immediately back down, and sue for peace with Russia, on Russia's terms, which I am certain would be Just, and Fair.

All of good heart and morals must condemn these acts unequivocally, and none of us should be willing to forgive this grotesque sin, until those responsible have paid for their evil.

Another exceptional oracle from Scott Ritter. I can feel the heart of a new grandfather in this. The hopes and dreams of hundreds of Russian parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents, aunts and uncles were shattered in one night, by a SURPRISE terrorist event that no one was prepared for, or could have been prepared for.

Scott, I have asked our Heavenly Father to provide you with all you need - spirit, soul, body, finance and safety for your next trip to the Motherland, and for a drone-proof canopy of Glory-fire to cover and shield St Petersburg for these networking event par excellence.

Scott, I fear that there also is a stark choice coming your way: go to Russia as intended, or continue to rant and rage from the so-far relative safety of the USA. If "the powers that unfortunately are" tar you as an enemy of the US aiding and abetting the enemy, you will be disappeared for the duration. My regimental Pro Patria to your Semper Fi. Wisdom and luck in your decision!

Thank you for this excellent essay, Scott. The time of Russian restraint to avoid alienating the actual residents of Europe has officially ended. Along with the just-completed military exercises including strategic nuclear weapons, in Belarus, consider the statement of the Russian Representative at the UN Security Council: https://kathleenmccroskey.substack.com/p/latvia-has-been-warned

HEY SCOTT. Dr. Marandi is reporting that PAKISTAN GAVE IRAN FUNCTIONING NUKES. No need to test; ready to go. This balance of deterrence might make for peace in the Middle East and bring Israel's long term goals to an end. The Muslims seem to be getting united. What do you think?

It's weird to be reading a US patriot advocating a potentially very destructive kinetic war by Russia against not only Western actions but Western military and planning centers. I guess this is Lieutenant General Andrei I’lnitsky doctrine. It's also very weird that a Russian government official isn't thinking along the same lines. Putin is becoming very criticized by Russian nationalists for not adequately responding to Western provocations. Perhaps he is unable to get out of the mindset of manipulating all the circumstances so he indirectly achieves his goals around Western opposition. Perhaps it's time for a change in Russian leadership.

It's not that Putin achieved nothing. Perhaps his role was to take Russia to the place of a real, fully functional superpower. But, he may not be able to use the full capabilities of the superpower he created. So, the West is out-strategizing Russia. Of course, engaging in a real kinetic action directly against NATO and the US military brings in the real possibility of a nuclear escalation. Karaganov made the point that Russia must stop the escalation of provocations, even at the risk of a nuclear exchange. I expect the Western strategists contemplating nuclear blackmail are operating more from dispensationalism than from rational strategy.

Part of that warfare is Western media near-silence; I have not (yet) heard any outlet use these phrases, but there is an undertone of "Russian propaganda" or "Russian disinformation" when the attack is mentioned. At least two outlets turned down invitations to visit the site:

Western media ‘afraid to see truth’ – Russia’s human rights chief — RT Russia & Former Soviet Union

We see nothing: How has the West reacted to the Ukrainian strike on a Russian school dorm? — RT World News [Love the Hogan's Heroes Sergeant Schultz allusion!]

Foreign journalists visit Russian college dorm struck by Ukrainian drones (VIDEO) — RT Russia & Former Soviet Union

Yesterday, NPR stated to the effect that President Putin "said" it was a school, i.e., not that in fact "it was a school," only that he "said" it was. Think about that difference in implication. As we know, you can't believe anything Mr. Putin says - like when he offered President Clinton help in tracking Osama bin Laden, and offered cooperation to President Bush after 9/11, the first international leader to call him.

Today, NPR and other Western outlets cannot say enough about the Russian Federation's missile response on Kiev - of course they spell it Kyiv - and quote Western leaders condemning it. I have not yet seen nor heard any report or commentary connecting the proverbial dots.....

(PS - I listen to NPR only because the sole classical music station where I live is an NPR affiliate; I usually turn the sound down at news breaks, unless I need a laugh.)

Pure terrorism by another name. Regime change in Ukraine is long overdue. Any strike on a nation’s children should result in immediate catastrophic consequences.

Thank Mr. Ritter, As you most likely know that our true enemy is Venice, City of London, and Wall Street, not Russia, China, and Iran.
