Thanks a lot Scott. I remember the anti-missile systems discussion back in the days of Rummy … a waste of money. Doesn’t work.
Now fast forward to Col MacGregor’s highly instructive presentation on the Russian ICBM they call “The Nut.” Orekh? Something like that. The Russian General who pushed the project complained that nuclear warheads are too destructive. Why not have missiles that are effectively unstoppable and can target ANYTHING with precision. War becomes instantly impractical. Brilliant.
I’m not sure what Trump actually thinks about anything, but agree with you and others that what we have to do is make attacks on the US and our interests too expensive to contemplate. Don’t even think about it.
The effective rejoinder to that is when an adversary is suicidal. What about a country that still chops heads off for speaking against the State Religion? That’s like, Medieval.
My question is this. Does Iran have … or not … weapons grade Uranium sufficient for putting together a few fission bombs? Do they have a delivery system for them? My understanding is “Yes” and “Yes.” Are they “nuts?” Or rational? Idk. The leadership, that is. I hear the Iranian people themselves are amazing. I’ve known a few emigres from the current regime.
Can one implement a verifiable nonproliferation treaty with such a regime? If you answer that we had it and threw it away, it implies that maybe is there a strategy of live-and-let live economic cooperation that builds trust in a regime premised on the principle that all infidels … all Israelis, of course … must die? Is that the premise of the regime? I’m just a poor li’l citizen targeted for death by City of London already.
After living through a US regime that “snuffed” 2M Americans, who needs enemies?
Love ya mate your analysis on every program is the best I really appreciate the time you take to inform the world on the truth
Buffer zones are becoming less and less relevant.
ALL Dnjeper bridges should be destroyed.
