The way to see just how seriously Russia takes peace ever since Boris Yeltsin appointed the new (and now re-elected) president of Russia in 1999 is to track with Putin's peace efforts ever since. His every effort for peace has been betrayed or sabotaged. He is not to be disrespected or underestimated. He even knows that Trump is a busy man and so gives him lots of slack until the day they can together make peace happen.
Scott Ritter is a perfect example of a person who grew up after becoming a grown up, who educated himself, who is a self-correcting lifelong learner. He has come to write more compellingly and forcefully that journalists trained at America's finest academic institutions. He is wiser and better informed than members of Congress or our top military generals. And his only credentials are just that he sered as an ordinary marine.

if i remember correctly, the faz ( " newspaper for germany" ) was started after ww2.
as a newspaper then needed a licence the american watchoffice went along with it.

in all employment contracts for journalists in germany is since years the requirement not to write articles in opposition to superiors..
