On March 29, 2023, I appeared as a guest on the Alex Jones Show, where I discussed the dangers posed by nuclear weapons and the need for a renewed push for arms control between the US and Russia.
This is really bad news for old school lefties. He helped us by elevating our anti-war and anti-censorship voices. Sadly, our presence will be diminished until Tucker finds a spot to land. You don't have to agree with everything Tucker says in order to allow him to fight with us on things that we do agree about.
Scott, we need your voice so since all of MSM lies, go start a channel on Rumble where you will encounter no or less censorship. Be a guest on Jimmy Dore, Russell Brand, RBN or any of the NAFO channels
Tucker is consider toxic at the moment by corp media . Who knows maybe the state dept has a hand in his firing as well? Happened to Phil Donahue when he questioned the Iraq war. Besides, he has enough money not to have to kiss ass. He’s an heir to some big frozen food company Swanson I think.
Alex apologized numerous times on his own show long before he was ever sued. And I think Matt Taibbi's frustrating experience with Mehdi Hasan only proves Ritter's point. You go where they will have you and give you a legitimate chance to make your point. Comparing Alex Jones to the likes of Blinken, Musk and the rest of the scum "elite" of Washington and the corporate community is like comparing a bottle rocket to a MOAB bomb.
I'd have to disagree. Alex is responsible for the climate we have where it seems like there's a fog around everything and Tinfoil hat nonsense everywhere you look.
I am doing much better, thanks but no thanks. Believe me, I've hung out with Libertarian types and their tinfoil-hat BS. I am doing better because I research things before I take a position and I understand what Scientific consensus *IS*. See Neil DeGrasse Tyson on the matter.
Btw, I find it most amusing that all kinds of objections to Alex Jones are being expressed all over this comments section but you chose to reply to me. You simply drive around in a mental fog AFAICS.
For anyone else stumbling on this thread, here is Neil deGrasse Tyson trying to mislead and misinform the public, for what?, for money?, was he caught sexually assaulting someone and is now being blackmailed?
I don't know why he's doing this shady work, but it's bloody embarrassing. I used to think he was fantastic, this interview showed him to be dishonest and outright duplicitous.
On the Patrick Bet-David show, he is basically using the same old tired BS that the plandemic planners made good use of: "We don't know if IVM works or not, we need this or that study, no use talking about IVM until we have the results of those studies 5 yrs from now." Or some variation of such dishonesty. Basically buying time, putting everything off while the miscreants regroup.
Then he proceeds to tell everyone that they are all incompetent to interpret statistics, and that whenever or wherever they've seen a statistic, they've misinterpreted it due to their feelings and misguided intuitions getting in the way... that they mislead themselves. And we're not even 5 minutes into this interview yet!
Geez! With so many people being so stupid, guess I should stop listening or watching these people then, who don't have enough control over their emotions to understand the information they are studying? For example, people like:
And I can dig up sooo many more, but you get the idea.
Listen to Dr. McCullough's emotional tirade here (https://twitter.com/JimmyJoeYam/status/1644305201921159169). Thank God Dr. Neil showed up on the Highwire to help me realize that Drs. like McCullough's intuitions are flawed, that casinos would take advantage of that weakness, a weakness that Tyson and his fellow physicists would never fall prey to, which is why we should all be listening to Dr. Neil and whoever else he deems immune to "statistics emotionality"... and we're not even 7 mins. in yet!
Bloody hell, not even 15 mins... now he's told Del that if you repeat something over and over again, people will believe/internalize it... hehe... he didn't even realize that he was explaining how the MSM, WHO, Western governments, and all other apparatus of our ruling class, used these methods to convince the world that there was a plandemic, to induce fear in the global populace.
And now he's going into "Peer Review", so of course, he's going to go into "Consensus", and he will surely infer that if there really were problems with the Pentagon Juice, then peer review and scientific consensus would have already revealed these problems. Something along these lines he's surely going to suggest. Where's my triple-facepalm emoji when I need it!
The days are gone whereby the large medical journals have not been infiltrated by Big Pharma, only the small independent ones such as Surgical Neurology International still maintain enough independence to publish truth as they see it.
For those who've reached here, do make sure to read the scientific paper just referenced immediately above.
The comments above are the comments that I was posting as I was watching the interview, I got some 15-20 mins in, and it was too late at night, was going to watch the remainder later, but haven't got back to it yet.
You're right, Richard. Tyson was someone I deeply respected and read his books and loved his revival of Cosmos. I saw the Patrick Bet David interview and was heartbroken by what he said. The very 1st episode of Cosmos was partially focused on men who REJECTED consensus about the earth's place in the universe. Now Tyson would be in the crowd jeering Bruno and salivating at his execution.
How about a local podcast from Kennett Square, PA that was banned from YouTube for posting videos from J6, and proof of election fraud, etc etc.? How about being a guest on a small time podcast that was banned for posting the truth. I'm a nobody, and even my part-time podcast Live and Local IRL was banned.
I would love to have you as our first guest back from the Cancel Abyss. I've tried to find out how to contact you. You're a hard man to get a hold of - my email: joan@remotecfos.com
Democracy hides in darkness. Time to flip the switch.
They don’t want to get Phil Donahue’d Self censorship in corp media is quite remarkable. They’ve also denied Prof. Jeffrey Sachs from publishing an opinion piece with all the traditional papers ie Wapo, NYT, WSJ etc. on the matter of UA-RU conflict. Maybe you guys can add prof Sachs to your documentary. This war isn’t gonna end anytime soon from the looks of it Canada budgeted aid to Ukraine till 2026 or something like that?
They all get a turn grifting the public banking, big pharma, MIC, NGOs are the big ones . We have a lobby for almost everything. The sugar lobbyists hence the spike in diabetes etc.
Countries also lobby for their own agenda.
It’s quite remarkable that we still think there’s such a thing as democracy here in the US after Citizens United vs FEC. Their corporate campaign donations are considered free speech. We are so fucked.
Agreed, I don't blame you for going on AJ's show but there are better, more thoughtful venues out there. I strongly suggest Ben Norton on Geopolitical Economy. Actually a discussion with you and Prof Michael Hudson would be superb~! That's intellect at it's highest order. You deserve better than Alex's crowd. Real Progressives with Steven Grumbine might not be a bad choice for you, also. Check the Real Progressives YouTube channel. They just recently had Bill Black on.
Scott's intent, much like the intent of almost anybody who's interviewed by anyone, is simply to reach an audience. Apparently, a few people think it indicates an endorsement of the host's character. They are wrong, and it would be self-defeating for Scott to kowtow to such nonsense. He wants to influence public opinion, not just people who are supposedly "better" than the Alex Jones audience. Subjecting members of the public to a purity test is a recipe for failure.
I think you might change your mind if there's backlash for being associated with AJ. Hopefully this won't happen. That's why I gave Scott some recommendations of those who are sympathetic to his cause, but are at a higher intellectual level.
Thank you Scott !! Your mistreatment by Twitter is absolutely disgusting.
At the same time crimes disclosed by Twitter Files are infinitely bigger than Watergate. And still most of US public has not even heard of them.
....And -- FB just silenced the “so called researcher” Seymour Hersh on Biden’s terrorist attack on Germany as “unreliable” -- the pressure of panicked cabal of DNC- FBI/CIA and State media is immense but their attempt to naked fascism as "fight for democracy" is collapsing.
While I agree with the castigation of Elon Musk; while Scott is a most-articulate hero to me; I still am most anxious about Jones' position on Sandy Hook because so many believed him. I was inundated by friends who insisted Sandy Hook never happened. No amount of discussion or articles telling the truth could ever convince them otherwise. It is quite probable that at least some still believe the lie and they comfort themselves by claiming "Jones has to say it happened, he's broke."
Is it ignorance? I don't know. My farmer cousins have completely distrusted the US government for decades. I didn't totally lose my faith until Obama's second term.
But here we are, a nation divided for and against the Ukraine war. There is no middle ground on which to debate. RFK Jr. expressed support for Ukraine when he announced his candidacy for President. US Generals may admit there is no way to win that war, but the deep state has shown Kennedy, twice already, what will happen to him if he stands in the way of the Oligarchy's war. How might my vote for him prevent the coming war with China? I was a sucker for Obama's carefully worded promises to support policies I wanted. I do not want to see the USA destroyed. Where are the "calmer heads" that will back down?
I don't know where to "draw the line", but when faced with an enemy who is associated with the Ukraine Bandaristas; who are in fact American Nazis; that will boldly lie about anything and everything; who appeal to the beast that lives in every man's heart -- how can one condone such great lies?
Documents Show Soros Ran US Foreign Policy on Post-Coup Ukraine ... https://nationalvanguard.org/2016/09/documents-show-soros-ran-us-foreign-policy-on-post-coup-ukraine/ .. Crooked Joe Biden and morons in congress send Billions to Ukraine. Soros gets his share and sends it back to the USA to elect crooks like Alvin Bragg. The money is then used to destroy the USA. Is this the money being used to prosecute President Trump?
RFK Jr. will never get anywhere near the heights of his uncle & his father. "The deep state" won't bust a bead of sweat. Check out a very thorough dismantling of the arguments put forth by the little Kennedy Wannabe: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLhjSYYRGNprZRgx3u4ps7QHWutw3wX49h RFK Jr. is an AIDS/HIV denialist and supports the "Vaccines caused Autism" conspiracy theory. He would be a disaster if he ever made the White House, but too many people see through his BS.
RFK really supports Ukraine? And here I thought he was a critic of US interventionism. Oh well, I would never vote for the little Kennedy wannabe in any case.
Think of the millions of children killed based on the lies of the Korean, Vietnam, Afghan, Iraq, and so many more wars. And no legal redress. Jones is not my cup of tea and he even admitted he got it wrong about Sandy Hook. But compare his misdeed with those of the crimes noted above. Draw appropriate conclusions.
A high rise designed to take the impact of a passenger liner and had typical fireproofing measures, drops straight down in its footprint like professionals are paid lots of money to accomplish. And then the building next to it does exactly the same thing. I have been in construction for 50 years and I wasn't born yesterday.
Everyone needs to get up to speed on the history and practice of "false flags". Daniele Ganser's book on the subject would be a good place to start. People would then have a sounder basis for evaluating the many more recent false flags - including Oklahoma, for example.
I don’t know how anyone could ever believe that Elon Musk was on the people’s side. He’s just another Trojan horse like Trump. And all the rest. He has always been one of THEM. He’s still working on his brain chips and neuralink.
Lucy do you think you can win an argument when you inject Trump to prove a point? And then followed by "And all the rest" so you can cover your previous statement? Wasn't the Russia-gate BS and everything that followed a lie to diligitimize Trump and remove an elected president from office? How is that really any different then what is being discussed here?
This entire discussion is centered around do we let guys like Alex Jones off the hook for his many examples of conspiracy-pushing craziness, just because on this one thing he shone a little brighter than Musk. Same thing with Trump - Do we let him off the hook for the 40K deaths due to his Venezuela policies, or occupying Syria's oil fields, or causing Ilhan Omar to get a spike in death threats just because hey - At least he didn't do Russiagate? Simple logic.
First of all your commentary does not address the issue Ritter has put forward in this article at all. No one is suggesting that Jones's commentary wasn't extremely inappropriate in regard to the Sandy Hook shootings, however the issue at hand is, should Musk have thrown Ritter off Twitter, because he went on Jones's show to discuss the war in Ukraine, and nuclear weapons. Your commentary has no relevance here and either does her's or your attacks on Trump. I don't support sanctions on any country nor did I feel that Trump should have overturned the Iran deal or impose sanctions on Venezuela although in both cases he got a lot of support from the democrats, a lot, a whole lot. Now the dems are talking about lifting those sanctions. Don't confuse the past and the present. As far as Syria is concerned, a dirty war truly started under Obama, and would not have gotten underway under Trump. Not one new war under Trump. So you accuse him of being a Muslim hater, like Clinton did, but he backtracked on letting Muslims fly into this country, but Bush/Cheney, Obama/Biden, Clinton can't bring back the millions and millions of Muslim lives they slaughtered in their lying wars, or the carnage they inflicted, the countries they toppled, or the slave trade now thriving in Libya. Talk about Trump when you can explain away their carnage.
"your commentary does not address the issue Ritter has put forward in this article"
I wasn't attempting to. I was replying to your knee-jerk response to Lucy for her mentioning Trump in a negative light.
"however the issue at hand is, should Musk have thrown Ritter off Twitter"
I think we're all in agreement here on that issue, are we not? Still doesn't make what Lucy said wrong. Not in the least.
"Your commentary has no relevance here and either does her's or your attacks on Trump."
I understand, I'm not a free-speech absolutist, either ;-)
"he got a lot of support from the democrats, a lot, a whole lot"
Yeah, and...?
"As far as Syria is concerned, a dirty war truly started under Obama, and would not have gotten underway under Trump"
Bullshit. Sanctions are an act of war, and Trump's policies amount to an Economic War in Venezuela. Furthermore, Trump should have immediately withdrawn from any and all involvements anywhere and everywhere, or his claims to be anti-interventionist are a stinking, hypocritical lie. Finally, Trump's own Republican Senate placed no less than 3 bills on his desk that would've ended US support of the Saudi war in Yemen. Trump vetoed all three. Guess what? When you fail to stop a war when you could have, that means you inherited it. And in Syria, a US activist I know personally named Janice Kortkamp was THERE when Trump - with no real reason at all - launched an attack on Syria. Ask her how the people of that country felt about his aggression. That Syria & Russia was wise enough not to engage the US at that point does not prove a war couldn't have resulted.. That was CLEAR unprovoked aggression on the part of the US. So was murdering Qasem Soleimani.
"Talk about Trump when you can explain away their carnage."
Are you a shill for FAUX news or something? You traffic in a lot of non sequiturs, d00d. And you basically have nothing.
Spare me your comments, since they have little understanding of what I wrote in regard to her comment, or my reflection on the article by Scott Ritter. Goodby
While the government and their talking heads lie to us with ubiquity, and other figures get cancelled for telling the truth, it's important to know Obama signed a bill on the way out that legalized government propaganda. So they can lie with impunity, and the rest will be summarily punished.
Thank you Mr. Ritter for this wonderful article. This is exactly why I refuse to use platforms like Twitter and facebook. The people who run these social media platforms only care about their own virtue signaling. They condemn or cancel others who don’t agree with them and then support the killing of civilians, including children, in the Donbas whether knowingly or not. How can one claim to care about the murdered children at Sandy Hook and then be responsible for a satellite system used to point out to a war criminal regime such as the one in Kiev where civilian targets are in the Donbas?! This is despicable and is a war crime. Who wouldn’t want to support open dialogue between US and Russia to disarm these nuclear weapons?! I support you wholeheartedly Mr. Ritter in your efforts to get US and Russia back to talking nuclear disarmament. I also believe what the U.S. did in dropping those two atom bombs on the two cities in Japan in 1945 was WRONG indeed. The U.S. was the first country to use atomic weapons on civilians and as an American and a human being I am ashamed of this. I’m a human being first and foremost and I can never support the murder of tens of thousands of other human beings just like I would never support the mass genocide during the Holocaust. Peace to you and your family Mr. Ritter as well as peace to a very frightening world, at this time in history.
Elon Musk has never been for free speech. Look at his response to when his workers tried to organize and see what shenanigans he pulled off to repress those people. He's only for free speech insofar as it doesn't affect his bottomline or when it is politically advantageous. Elon Musk would be a nobody if he didn't have a rich emerald mine owning father. One capitalist pig spawned another.
Thanks Scott -- you revealed with strategic precision examples the way Elon Musk engages in pompous pretzel logic. I greatly appreciate your defense of anyone's speech no matter how vile you may find it. Elon needs a crash course in the fundamentals of 1A as taught by Professor Ritter.
Who would you have interview me? CNN? Fox? CBS? ABC? NBC? PBS?
They all lie. None apologize for their lies.
Alex did.
FOX just fired Tucker Carlson for not kissing their behinds.
This is really bad news for old school lefties. He helped us by elevating our anti-war and anti-censorship voices. Sadly, our presence will be diminished until Tucker finds a spot to land. You don't have to agree with everything Tucker says in order to allow him to fight with us on things that we do agree about.

Tucker will find another ass to kiss though.
A very stupid and ignorant comment -- Olga. I feel sad for you...
See today’s Greenwald about Tucker on Rumble
Try to do better Kevin.
In today's Information Age, you should know better. I know I'm wasting my keystrokes, it was a rhetorical comment.
I am doing much better, thanks but no thanks. Believe me, I've hung out with Libertarian types and their tinfoil-hat BS. I am doing better because I research things before I take a position and I understand what Scientific consensus *IS*. See Neil DeGrasse Tyson on the matter.

I believe it's something like 3 out of the last 4 editors-in-chief of the Lancet, or another such large medical journal, that have written books about the problems with said journals/publishers, highlighting the hijacking of science (if I remember correctly, at least two of these books are mentioned in the following article's references/sources): https://surgicalneurologyint.com/surgicalint-articles/the-pharmaceutical-industry-is-dangerous-to-health-further-proof-with-covid-19/

Scott - Ben Norton should interview you. He's sympathetic to your cause.
Alex apologized, when his @$$ was in a sling & his words came back to haunt him. Let's be real.
You posted this as a top comment, not as a reply so it is not clear to what/who you are responding to.

How many votes do his followers cast?
Millions.
I think my appearing on Alex Jones has just been explained.
I do not fault you for being on Jones' show. I am horrified that you had to be. I support your choice, but wish you had a better one.

Doing an interview ≠ association. The small amount of people who imagine otherwise pales in comparison to the size of AJ's audience.

Trump & Musk are both Billionaire's. Should be self-explanatory.
Your response in no way explains what she said, nor does it address what I questioned about her statement.
Not feeling the need to shun Alex Jones isn't really letting him off the hook. It's not Scott's responsibility to punish or judge the guy.
Yeah? And bringing up Russiagate has nothing to do with what she said. So we're even ;-)
Spare me your comments, since they have little understanding of what I wrote in regard to her comment, or my reflection on the article by Scott Ritter. Goodby
Aw, do you need a hug X-D
I watched the Infowars show live.
Scott did a good job of getting his message out, which I'll just summarize as, "We're all going to die."
Jones reflected that message and helped to amplify it. How Jones' audience will receive the message is TBD.
Ritter said Biden is mentally compromised and will make the wrong decision if he is brought the "football".
Ritter said the fate of the world hangs on a failed actor, Zelensky.
Ritter says the war won't last past fall. Others believe it will go on for years.
Finally, Ritter said there are Generals and Lindsey Graham who believe a nuclear war can be won.
Elon Musk is a global-capitalist with his own agenda.
