Personally I think it's time we all stop calling it "delusion", or claiming that "he's dumb", or "he didn't know", or "he was just misled or fooled".

He's not dumb. He knows exactly what the hell (operative word there) is going on. He knows the truth about this. It's all an act. It's all fabricated. It's all part of the setup for the fall of the US, so they get the global "reset"/NWO that they've been working on for ages. There is no MAGA. People had better realize what the NWO plan really is, and how long it's been in play -- then pretty much all of Trumps actions start becoming painfully obvious.

Trump is part of the NWO cabal/plan. He's one of their groomed and paid actors. The sooner people wake up to the fact, the better off we will all be.

GS-z-14-1's avatar

Personally, I think Trump’s intelligence is very limited. But he does not act alone. He does not grasp the picture in its entirety; but he knows and is devoted to all its malevolence.

The Do Not Comply Guy's avatar

Could be spot on. He’s also a lifetime actor and chameleon…so it’s possible he just plays the idiot on TV and grasps all of it. Either way, we both know who and what he serves.

LaVerne Karras's avatar

After watching him through the 3½ years he's been president, I seriously doubt he's just playing a fool. Looking back on that and his record as a 'stable genius' real estate 'mogul', he got where he is by lying, cheating and stealing, at that, he was a narcissistic, petty conman that started with a silver spoon in his mouth that he probably lost most of and the presidential time has been a performance that would embarrass someone that was schizophrenic, he doesn't know what to do on his own and is surrounded by clowns, each with their own agenda, or their donors/owners agenda.

There's an old Turkish proverb: "When a clown seats himself on the throne he does not become a king, the kingdom becomes a circus!"

Welcome to the circus with all the clowns running the show!

The Turk who came up with that zinger was an extraordinary intelligent individual.

You've clarified, in 3 short paragraphs the answer to the question that has haunted me since last year: Where do Trump's loyalties lie, other than to himself? You posit the NWO answer, which I've heard previously, but not been convinced by. I had thought he was fighting the Deep State, but now suspect you are correct. I've subscribed to your Substack and would want to see you write extensively on this topic.

I just listened to Larry Johnson's interview Pepe Escobar, who quoted Toth [???] as saying Trump was tasked with presiding over the dissolution of the American Empire. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vusv5_Zf57I

Open mind my friend. I voted for Trump twice. I was a hardened repub for years. I had a profound spiritual awakening -- and overnight was changed. I was compelled to disconnect from all TV, social media, distractions and my regular sinful ways and was propelled into insatiable study. I couldn't stop, day and night for the last 5 years. Lots of study, prayer and reflection. This is what I've come up with. I have realized much about who and what really runs our world, the long planned agendas and who and what fit into them. I see Trump VERY clearly now. I don't profess to know all. I don't profess to be 100% right. I know in my spirit however, that I am very much over the target.

Great review of a depressing subject, Scott. Thanks for the history lesson and commentary. Spot on.

Though life led me off into medicine, I started my college years in engineering with the idea of becoming an aerospace engineer. The University of Tennessee College of Engineering had a co-op program in the 60s where one could work a quarter in an industry apprentice/internship and go to school a quarter. I signed up for the program to help pay for expenses and my assigned company was Thiokol Chemical at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Al. Werner Von Braun and his fellow Nazis were still alive and kicking at the time and we were headed to the moon! One of the main projects at the time for Thiokol was the Sprint anti-ABM system. It really caught the imagination of this young and clueless engineering student. It was to be used to intercept Soviet ballistic missiles as they reached re-entry over the US (think about that one). It was an impressive piece of ordnance - solid propellant engine with a nuclear warhead -the device could accelerate to Mach 10 in mere seconds from launch. The political turmoil of the time (Viet Nam was ramping up, RFK and MLK were killed, race riots were being orchestrated, drugs were being flooded into the US by our own alphabet boyz) led to abandonment of the project and ThePowersThatWere (same as TPTB now) turned their attention to other targets of plunder.

Little seems to have changed since those days... We are still governed by mobsters and the country is several orders of magnitude more corrupt than it was at that time.

Thanks for your voice, Scott!

S.P. Korolev's avatar

Thanks for sharing your memories of working in 'Hunsville' for Thiokol. Most will know Thiokol as the manufacturer of the Solid Rocket Boosters that doomed the Space Shuttle Challenger. The rot was setting in by 1986, but solid motors were one of the few areas of rocketry where the US was ahead of the Soviet Union during most of the Cold War. US solid fueled missiles like the Sprint ABM were very impressive, accelerating to hypersonic speeds deep in the atmosphere and glowing red-hot on ascent like a Kinzhal coming down.

The US had at least 4 companies making large solid rocket motors in the 60s-70s: Thiokol, United Technologies, Aerojet and Hercules. A series of mergers left just one: Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems, the successor of Thiokol. It won contract for Sentinel by default, but the recent performance of its motors seem to suggest that the institutional memory from the golden age of US rocketry has been lost. A test of the Solid Rocket Booster for the SLS moon rocket, intended to replace the secondhand Shuttle boosters used on early flights, ended in failure as the booster ejected its nozzle in spectacular fashion. The same type of nozzle failure occurred on the second flight of the Vulcan launch vehicle, developed to replace to the Russian-engined Atlas V in launching the DoDs most important satellites.

Lockheed Martin is in a similarly sorry state, with the heatshield of its Orion moonship nearby burning through on reentry after its first lunar flight. The 'Avcoat' material was developed in the late 50s and used on numerous spacecraft and warheads, but apparently LockMart has forgotten how to make it. Instead on fixing it for the first crewed flight NASA decided to just tweak the trajectory a little. A permanent fix will have to wait for later flights, assuming the first crew isn't incinerated Columbia-style and the whole program canceled. Good luck developing a workable hypersonic with exploding solid rockets and a substandard heatshield!

mary-lou's avatar

which is, sort of, good: the fewer weapons, the better. give a young boy a stick and he'll slash around him. give the big boys bombs and they'll.... etc. weapons invoke violence, deterrence has been proven futile, so please, no more.

Kathleen McCroskey's avatar

"Deterrence" as presently envisioned, is fatally dangerous. Real deterrence is full nuclear ban - these weapons and any imagined use of them is the best example of insanity. As for "fewer weapons," I hope that is part of the overall sidelining of The Hegemon, pushing it out of the way of the new world order. The reign of The Bully must be ended.

Ranger1221regnaR's avatar

I think 'deterrence' is not futile, it just doesn't last well enough as a panacea to our desires for revenge or justice, or just plain avarice.

mary-lou's avatar

"our" desires for revenge....? you can have my part. "justice"? another laden, biased concept. "accountability" might be the most achievable.

Ranger1221regnaR's avatar

LoL, as you're being pedantic about it, accountability, or any word for that matter, is meaningless, as they all can be ignored or have a biased concept attached to them, or are such.

Regarding having your 'part' of revenge, no thanks, you can bury that with the dead where Revenge belongs, please don't try to ascribe a personal interpretation to that which I meant generally, I was not pointing the finger at you or me personally, but alluding to the general state of humanity.

Deterrence is not futile, but can be all too often short-lived, it all comes down to what the deterrence is, and as importantly, how it is administered. As a species 'we' haven't displayed a particularly good understanding of that as other things like avarice get in the way.

Deterrence is necessary, and it does work when used properly, as does Justice and accountability. Justice is a biased concept, true, but goes hand-in-hand with Accountability. A person is accountable for their behaviour and actions, which include the premise that one should receive Justice for whatever part they played in harming another, or being harmed by another.

Justice is biased in that it is a concept that those who have been harmed should receive due compensation, and those doing the harm should receive due punishment - Justice works when these two simple rules are followed, but the bias is only in the sense that it favours the harmed, not those doing the harm, therefore Justice is biased, but I do not understand what you mean when you say Justice is biased, as you imply it is something not good as a concept. What would you substitute it for Mary-Lou?

How do you see Justice as being a biased concept? Do you think maybe we should just let people do whatever they want to each other? Murder, steal, and torture each other without recompense or complaint? Do you perhaps see another non-biased way to deal with crimes?

I think that you recognise that Justice fails many, but how you can conflate that with a bias that needs replacing seems like you are barking up the wrong tree. As a concept Justice works, as a reality, it is a bit harder to get it to do what it should, and that is down to human corruption, period.

"In small areas, before small electorates, a first-rate man occasionally fights his way through, carrying even the mob with him by force of his personality. But when the field is nationwide, and the fight must be waged chiefly at second and third hand, and the force of personality cannot so readily make itself felt, then all the odds are on the man who is, intrinsically, the most devious and mediocre — the man who can most adeptly disperse the notion that his mind is a virtual vacuum.

The Presidency tends, year by year, to go to such men. As democracy is perfected, the office represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move toward a lofty ideal.

Because those countries don't attack innocent countries, one after another, to gain...what? Money, resources, power, regime change or control, hegemony. djean111's avatar

Not that I want anybody to have any weapons like these at all - but as long as the US, or any country, develops weapons by awarding contracts to corporations that value profit above all else, and have successfully gotten away with huge cost overruns in the past - there is actually no profit in producing a weapon that works for the money it actually costs. Not to mention the huge profitability of continuing to test and "refine" weapons. Like curing cancer really means the loss of a profitable patient, creating a successful weapon at a cost that reflects the actual expense is just bad business, and, IMO, and as Brad Pitt says, America is a business.

Matthew ngatai's avatar

Yay! Short-term business above long-term survival! ... Just about the dumbest survival tactic there is ... except sticking ones' head in the sand. Both are short-term solutions that may/may not work immediately, but they are both flawed tactics which cannot work long-term, and even guarantee future failure. BTW I liked your comment, this wasn't to counter what you wrote, but to add another perspective.

djean111's avatar

I was just responding with what I see as a reason that the US is behind Russia. I despise the entire weapons apparatus. Which is naive, i know. I am also keeping in mind that the US is the only country to have used an atomic bomb on civilians - twice - just to make a point, so I am certainly not trying to pave a path towards the US having bigger and better weapons. Just saying that's where and how the money disappears here in the US.

It could be that Google Ai is right about this when it says "Sun Tzu would condemn bragging about missiles you don't have as a foolish and dangerous practice that violates the core principle of deception. By creating a narrative that is not founded in reality, you lose control of the information, enabling your enemy to exploit your empty boasts and prepare an effective response.
