Very informative, and a great interview. This is how people should talk with one another, respectful, meaningful questions and answers, not click-bait driven sensationalism - I am seeing a definite pattern here - get an interview in the West, prepare for frustration and futility, and to be manipulated by the host no matter how honest, and vitally important the message is. Get an interview in the East, and respect, contemplation, careful consideration, empathy, and passion are all evident in a peaceful and calm environment.
All the interviews Scott has done in Russia and Belarus have been conducted with the highest levels of professionalism, and respect, and are literally a golden example of how interviews should be carried out - it's not entertainment, it's life-saving information with a heavy weight to consider.
Thank you Scott, Garland, and particularly to the Belarusian host, who conducted the interview with great aplomb.
OK, I messed up. He was born in Gomel which is now in Belarus, he is buried in Novodevichye Cemetery · Moscow. Yes, he was foreign minister, and knew America well because he went to university in NY. Read his Memoirs here: https://www.scribd.com/document/503368300/Memoirs-by-Andrei-Gromyko (PDF)

Excellent! Thank-you so much Scott for your sacrifical efforts to warn about nuclear war wherever you go.

If I had the opportunity to visit Belarus, I would love to spend a few moments of quiet respect at the grave of Andrei Gromyko.
Was he the foreign minister of the Soviet Union?
