Citizens Bank should be sued for everything. This is like sanctions on Jacques Baud. This has to be completely criminal!

kam's avatar

Nah. Don't sue them. That's like fighting in the mud with a pig.

Get them lots of Publicity and start withdrawing deposits.

Mic Norton's avatar

Yeah I'd just get my money and run...

Thierry Laurent's avatar

On Jacques Baud it is not obscure and not criminal in a strict sense. It is unfair, disgusting, and should be made illegal. But the fight has to occur. In the US, such targeting is illegal. In Europe, it is not, but was not usual. Now, it is becoming frequent. The fight must be brought against it.

Rabbitnexus's avatar

You can't fight the devil in his courts. There is no longer anything but an out of control criminal Empire at large and not even its so-called citizens have any say in anything except as an illusion.

Feral Finster's avatar

Why does this surprise you? Similar tactics were used against the Canadian Trucker Protests.

kam's avatar

And Canadians started pulling their money out of the Banks.

Trudeau had his pee-pee wacked - one of the many reasons he is not Prime Minister.

Feral Finster's avatar

Try living in Canada without a bank account.

kam's avatar

I live in Canada, have several accounts scattered all over, so does my wife. We don't borrow. Slowly got the message of Too Big To Fail. Liquidated assets, closed several facilities and am "sitting by the river, watching the bodies of my enemies float by."

Feral Finster's avatar

And were you debanked?

kam's avatar

Since I paid in to the Truckers Funding, I should have but was not. The Convoy started near my turf.

Have I ever run out of cash before? Let's not go there.

Lacey Morton's avatar

I was thinking that myself about the Canadian truckers.

Rabbitnexus's avatar

It was just the beginning and there's much more to come. We've got a hellish situation here in Oz since the Convid scam which was like the starting pistol for the end game I think. Our cops use microwave weapons against protesters and the weaponised laws continue to encroach on lives. I've been banned from firearms, despite never having committed any offense related to them, they just don't like me and they are very worried about my skillset in even more energetic fields and have put me on lists and restrictions as a result. Those who do not exercise their freedom don't notice much yet but there is very little freedom legally allowed anymore. We never had free speech as part of our constitution though people talk as if it is. I have learned the hard way we absolutely do not have and we have no recourse when abuses happen.

Peter Howard's avatar

What is the best way to help?

kam's avatar

As many customers of Citizens that can, pull your cash out.

Queen Street Systems's avatar

I came here to ask the same, all the writing we could do to the people he mentioned won’t pay for the electric and groceries

Peter Andrew Nolan's avatar

That's easy Peter. You support me in the 2008-2014 period when I was risking my life taking on criminals in governments so that people did not wind up becoming slaves..or dead. But men did not help me in that period and here we are. Oh well.

Theresa Barzee's avatar

The muscle-men mercenaries are testing us all out. They de-banked Julian Assange, Richard Medhurst, Jacques Baud, & now you. What a corrupted web of lies & greed these fbi bank mobsters scam us with as they weave. Shame on all of US. We must find & use lawyers to act pro bono to gather the tools to go after the legal thieve$. Tracking, & arresting the complicit bankers, fbi people, now.

And any laws that enable banks to do this shit should be called out along with those who made them & those who use these stupid cruel laws. No warnings?! Insane!

We will all be de-banked en masse. And we may have to insist on the officials testifying in huge Peoples' Tribunals all over the world.

Citizens' First. Tribunals Now for Citizen's Bank. Name all name$ up the chain of command.

Bless you, Scott.

May you & your family get rhe support you need. Now!

Division is their objective and every Dirty Tool in the drawer will be used.

sorry to hear that once again Trump is putting the screws to you and your family. Our president is a horrible deranged individual with emmense power. Until he is 6 feet under or impeached or placed under institutional care we: you I and the world have to hold our breaths and hope we survive his insane actions

JustPlainBill's avatar

This long precedes the Trump administration. This is a continuation of something that has been going on for years now. It began in the Obama administration with Operation Choke Point, and apparently continues. Give the TDS a rest.

Mic Norton's avatar

SCREW THAT,, let's not forget that your cult leader completely ruined the economy,, for everything except fuel anyway because that's all his zombies care about,, made enemies of the entire world with his financial lunacy and his insane threats like "taking Greenland whether they like it or not",, GREENLAND FOR CHRIST'S SAKE,, his moronic ice goons are murdering people,, and people like you who apparently live in a cartoon world think that all of this is a-okay and call people who are calling your cult leader insane,, you say THEY have Trump derangement syndrome LOL...

We no longer live in a free country.

eleni's avatar

Free? And it was when? Perhaps in the open prairies and wide open west before getting entrenched into the federal system. With the creation of the federal policing systems and all the clandestine ones we’re screwed.

Hat Bailey's avatar

RIght on eleni! Just because they don't use whips and keep us in chains (and it may come to that the way it's going) it is still just a sophisticated form of slavery. Are you paid to fill out the required forms individually or for you business? Of course not, they have invented a thousand ways to fleece us and it is getting worse.

Hunger4justice's avatar

You never did. They just gave you the illusion that you did.

kam's avatar

Alternatively, you finally woke up to realize "We no longer live in a free country."

Paul Edwards's avatar

This sick bit of criminal vindictiveness is a perfect example of what an evil, corrupt, and vicious government can do to punish those who question and criticize its tyrannical, dishonest and dangerous policies. America is a rotten, Capitalist military and police state, and has been for decades, and the vile, subhuman idiot who heads it now has driven it to a new low.

kam's avatar

Not really a Capitalist Country.

Too Big To Fail - solely about the tribe, not competition - that's Verboten.

Rabbitnexus's avatar

As was his task. Trump is just the man for the job at hand. Which is to act for the receivers of a country at the end of it's term. The USA is being sucked dry and will be spit out like a watermelon seed by the end but those who ruled and ruined it will continue regardless.

Yoda's avatar

Very sorry to hear about this incident Scott. This type of journalism you do and the passion you have for it is going to be a problem for the establishment. You are keeping us well informed with current events and I love it and so do millions of others, another problem for the establishment. One can only hope that this gets cleared up ASAP. My thoughts are with you...but I'm sure that doesn't help either. 🇨🇦

"First they came for the Canadian Truckers..."....

J Guti's avatar

Citizens Bank's parent company is the Royal Bank of Scotland... pretty sure this involves the Rothschild's.

kam's avatar

Then start withdrawing deposits on the Bank of Scotland too.

Roberto's avatar

I think this action, especially after the last post, was in the air.

Fine.

But what happened to the money that was in the account?

They can't take it.

Closing the account could be an option, but the balance must be returned. Regarding rights and democracy, I think only Scott remains a believer.

Feral Finster's avatar

Sure they can freeze an account, because reasons.

Whether the money is simply "taken" or "frozen" makes no difference to Scott.

Roberto's avatar

I'm not familiar with American laws.

Here in Europe, a bank can close an account, but unless there's a judicial decision, it can't seize or freeze the funds.

In our country, that's called theft.

Bevan's avatar

I expect “Debanking” will become increasingly common as people begin to resist the Trumpsters. I may be, too, for being linked to you by donating to you. What are some ways of joining alternatives???

Roberto's avatar

This is a serious note. Globalist policies, at least those we've managed to understand, include mandatory vaccinations, the poisoning of food chains, total control of the media, debanking, currently reserved for leading figures... in short, a constant depopulation under various types of deception. A psychological and regulatory war against their own people, aimed at their destruction. What to do? Disengage from the system as much as possible for food, money, medical care, etc. How to do it? Everyone, in their particular situation, will find a way.

Feral Finster's avatar

A european bank can freeze your account on suspicion of money laundering or by order of the authorities.

See, e.g., Jacques Baud. Far as I know, no court gave the order.

Roberto's avatar

The case you cite is in Switzerland, which is not Europe.

Another famous case is Nigel Farage, who is in England and therefore not Europe.

The problem is not to argue about geography but to realize that the "fundamentals" of law exist: the presumption of innocence, the need for a judicial ruling, at least in the first instance, before taking executive measures, etc. etc. There cannot be laws or measures that go against the "fundamentals," which are generally well-stated in the constitutional charters.

And then, excuse me, but it's right on the tip of my tongue: you were and remain an English colony!

Are they going to take away all my money?

And what can be done... the Queen said so...

And as for Europe, it's quickly approaching your standards. Don't worry, that way you won't be left alone.

Roberto's avatar

Euronews is the equivalent of CNN.

Do you have anything more reliable?

Well, goodnight, it's late here and time for bed, and you can't waste time with old English colonists.

Jayro's avatar

Here it is called Fin Cen if you get deposits they don't like they de bank.

kam's avatar

Or you can ask politely why, and they will reply, "We cannot tell you - that's Bank Policy."

Then you can say, "Please provide me a copy of that Bank Policy."

And they will say, " We cannot provide you a copy of Bank Policy. Because that's Bank Policy."

Pumla Mtyeku's avatar

To Scott and Marina...this too shall pass! You're a true American patriot and deserve better. May the Gods be with you and the rest of your family...🌺

NOLAArtist's avatar

maybe we should stop using banks. They are out to fuck us all with digital currency, so let’s do the Nancy Reagan and “Just Say No”!

Sure it will be difficult- but if we quit the banks- and we controlled the collapse in - the fuckers get fucked.

we must take control of our currency back.

Kathleen McCroskey's avatar

Learn to keep at least 3 months of cash reserve' in CASH.. When the REAL economic default hits, ALL you accounts and ALL your investments are "swept to the middle" to recover lost liquidity, and you would be restricted at best to max $100 withdraw per day. In the coming bail-in, your deposits are converted to bank shares (in a failing bank). Enjoy, and thank tRump!

John W.'s avatar

Scott,

Is there a USPS address to which each of us can send a few bucks?

Scott Ritter's avatar

You subscribe. That’s support enough—that money goes to a separate account I can access once I set up a new banking arrangement.

For others, you can use the donate function on my Substack page.

Like the Substack subscription, it is held separately from my Citizens Bank account.

Betsy C's avatar

Can you switch to our local credit union? Also I’m local to you and I don’t have a lot of funds but I can get you some groceries if you need them

kam's avatar

Good Idea. I'm building up inventory for the spring, so not rolling in cash, but happy to throw in $100.

KFLY's avatar

That is why western governments are pushing for cashless societies. They will have complete control of the drooling masses. Gawd I feel for you Scott! As far as I’m concerned you are a hero!
